I purchased this robe as a Christmas present for my husband. He has another Ralph Lauren robe that has seen way too many days and it was time for a replacement! I had to order the S/M because the L/XL was sold out, I planned on exchanging it when more L/XL was in stock, he tried it on and it fit, He’s 6 ft. 200 pounds. So I’m assuming either size would have worked… I’m glad that I don’t have to return it!The robe is beautiful and he loves it!

This thing is huge! Believe the reviews that say it is way over sized. I’m 5-10 and weigh 200 lbs and a large is more like a XXL. overall it’s nice and heavy, not really a daily robe, more like a freezing cold kind of robe.

The sizing of this item was correct. It’s very soft. The length of the item is great. But unfortunately I had to return this item. This item arrived rolled up in the smallest box that they could find. I had to be careful opening it because the top was bulging out. Once I opened it, the clear plastic had so much tape all over it. It was very difficult to get the item out without putting a hole in it. Had a light fragrance smell like someone already wore it. Needless to say I returned it. Because it seem as though I received someone’s returned. So, I returned it and bought same one from another store. Which was much better. I recommend buying this item from another retailer.

I bought this robe for my 19 year old son to stay warm and cozy during an unseasonably cold winter and early spring in AZ. He loves it! It’s incredibly soft and luxurious feeling — the only problem is that he wants to lounge all day and needs to get to work! He is 6’3″ and about 150lbs. The large/xl is perfect.
